Buy a new bra!
After months of wearing maternity bras and possibly breastfeeding bras too, the most popular advice is to get measured and treat yourself to some new bras.
I highly recommend the M&S bra fitting service - there is a video call option!
New trainers
SheerLuxe has become my go-to on fashion and beauty trends lately, so if they say these trainers are cool then.... they are cool!
Comfy trousers
Smarter than tracksuit bottoms but comfier than denim, these rib knitted trousers from Uniqlo are perfect to throw on at times when you need to feel pulled together but don't have time to plan an outfit.
Rethink your staples
Comfort and practicality doesn't have to mean boring! I love this jumpsuit made from organic cotton, it has convenient front poppas for breastfeeding access and, (best of all) pockets!
Leggings
We had a LOT of advice on which leggings are the best. Our followers suggested Lululemon, Love Leggings, Gym Shark, Adanola, Fabletics and The Sports Edit at M&S.
The majority of recommendations were for Lululemon Align which one follower described as "soft as butter".
New accessories
Treating yourself to a new piece of jewellery related to your new baby can be a beautiful way to celebrate the arrival of your little one. Personalised and birthstone necklaces are a stylish choice.
Ugg boots
At a time when comfort and ease of access is key, you just need a pair of Uggs. Whether a classic mini boot or a pair of (my favourite) Tasmans, you'll wear them constantly, both in and out of the house!
Oversized slogan sweatshirt
Comfort is key after having a baby and there is nothing easier than throwing on an oversized sweatshirt. Comfort and style in one! Zara and H&M have great ones but I love this one from Goodie Works!
